Primary Objective of Position: As a key member of the Program Management Team the Leader, NPD Vertical Readiness is the coordinator between all programs and all vertical manufacturing facilities to ensure the delivery of the right part, to the right place, at the right time. The Leader, NPD Vertical Readiness will serve as an active NPD Core Team member in all stages of the Winnebago NPD Process ensuring all vertical manufacturing procurement and production objectives are met and parts are delivered to support Prototypes, Pilots and Start of Production ramp up.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Champion communication between the NPD Core Team and the NPD Vertical Manufacturing facilities
• Own and support all NPD program schedules and activities specific to Winnebago Vertical Manufacturing
• Manage the procurement and receipt of Components related to the NPD Pre Production Builds
• Quickly escalate and communicate issues related to components not meeting delivery dates
• Collaborate to coordinate recovery plans to support the NPD Program Schedule
• Ensure readiness for build events from initial prototype through sustaining production deployment
• Attend and participate in Program Core Team Meetings
• Attend and participate in all necessary build reviews and Gate Exits

• Proficient in Mainframe, Teamcenter, Outlook, Word, Excel.

Education & Experience

• Four-year undergraduate degree required. Equivalent experience and a combination of acceptable education/certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• This position may require travel to other Winnebago locations.
