Responsible for customer communication, relationships, and requirement adherence for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. Serves as the primary link between the customer and site level leadership to ensure communication of status and potential problem areas while advising on how to mitigate those concerns.

M ajo r A c co u n ta bi l ities
Is the primary point of contact with customers, acts as voice of the customer within the organization.
Manages relationships with the customer base, fostering an environment where complex problems are solved in a manner that instills trust and respect for all parties.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining the contractual/commercial relationships with customers. Communicates and drives requirement adherence within the organization.
Accountable for price, cost, inventory, quality, and delivery as it relates to assigned customer base and agreed to Statements of Work.
Identifies and manages scope change throughout the development program by holding both customer and internal stake holders accountable to contractual scope.
Meet or exceed estimated Design-To-Cost targets.
Coordinates technical product development, estimates of potential profits, and release to production.
Tracks, monitors, and reports program performance using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System, Integrated Master Schedules, Risk Management, and NPI Tollgate Reviews.
Develops and executes an effective strategic plan to manage customer relationships and develop quotes and proposals.
Leads multi-disciplinary teams (sometimes across multiple sites) to execute programs in accordance with contractual requirements, quality, schedule, and cost commitments.
Collaborates with various functional areas, including supply chain, business development, engineering, quality, finance, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions and statements of work responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Monitors external and internal environment for development of new market segments and informs customers of new developments in our product line or production capabilities.
Attends industry and customer conferences, meetings, and events as required. Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements. Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.

M in i m um E d u c at i o n Required: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Field.
(Master’s degree in business, marking and/or PMP certification a plus)

M in i m um Ye a rs o f Ex perience Required: 5-7 y e ar s w or k i n g in engineering development/ program management related position in aerospace industry and/or complex manufacturing.
