Join our multi-doctor cardiology practice in the San Gabriel Valley! We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to float between our locations in Pasadena, Arcadia, and Covina. This is a full-time opportunity, with a schedule of 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Here's what we're offering for our Nuclear Medicine Technologist opening:

• Location: Float between Pasadena, Arcadia, and Covina as needed.
• Starting Pay: $45/hr.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Administering radioactive drugs to patients for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes
• Preparing and measuring doses of radioactive materials for administration to patients
• Operating medical imaging equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as SPECT, PET, or scintillation scans
• Explaining imaging procedures to patients and answering any questions to help them feel comfortable and informed
• Reviewing and interpreting images to determine the quality and accuracy of the images
• Maintaining records of exams performed and drugs administered to patients
• Ensuring that the imaging equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
• Following strict radiation safety protocols and regulations to protect both patients and healthcare workers from exposure to radioactive materials

The ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist will have:

• Current certification and either be certified by the ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Experience in Nuclear Cardiology and experience with ADAC/Philips Cardio MD Camera and JetStream workstation is preferred.
