At St. Paul Rheumatology we are a comprehensive rheumatology clinic with a state-of-the-art infusion center, operating from Twin Cities locations in Eagan and Roseville. Our flexible private practice empowers our staff to focus on providing specialized patient care and treatment modalities. Our staff actively participates in research studies, fully engaging in the advancement of treatment and therapy options for the diagnoses they treat.

Our practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Rheumatology practice. We offer generous compensation and competitive benefits. The right candidate for the clinic must meet the organizationally approved guidelines/ protocols within scope of practice. They must also meet the following requirements set forth.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Minnesota license from medical or nursing boards
• Current board certification
• Current DEA certification, or ability to obtain and/or maintain certification in the state of Minnesota.
• Knowledge of scope of practice for profession in the state of Minnesota

Experience and Skills

• Rheumatology experience strongly preferred
• 5+ years working as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Possess astute problem-solving abilities, work independently with minimal supervision, and assume responsibility for outpatient interactions
• Must be able to work in a complex fast-paced environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations. Demonstrates high level of skill in creative problem solving. Comfort and experience with treating patient concerns, creating treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
• Ability to collaborate with other healthcare providers and members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Consult and treat patients presenting with Autoimmune disease.
• Comfort and experience with treating patient concerns, creating treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
• Provide care at both clinic locations in Eagan and Roseville. Assist with answering patient questions and provide direction to support staff.
