A growing Rheumatology practice is searching for a highly motivated full time or part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed for Rheumatology clinic located with split time between The Woodlands and Kingwood offices. At least two years of work experience as an APP is required and Rheumatology experience is preferred.

The position is all outpatient based with no hospital consultations or inpatient rounds or after-hours call.

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner evaluates, plans and provides care for patients in consultation with and under the supervision of the Physician. Responsibilities include appropriate history taking, physical exam, interpreting laboratory data, ordering appropriate laboratory investigations and initiating management. It is required to maintain effective communication with patients, staff and the Physician and provide care in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable seeing patients independently, performing minor procedures such as intra articular injections, and have rheumatology knowledge.

Weekly Schedule

Full time: Monday – Friday 8A-5P
Part time: Negotiable
