Nurse Practitioner

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Urgent care
Location: Kensington, MD and Silver Spring, MD
Schedule: Full-time, open to mix of 6, 9 or 12hr shifts, includes two weekend days per month
Pay: $70 - $80/hr, based on experience plus benefits package!

The Nurse Practitioner duties to include but may not be limited to:
- Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician
- Perform complete physical exams and dictate finding in the EMR as well as establish a diagnosis, create a treatment plan, order additional and/or selective studies
- Instruct patient on medications and treatment instructions
- Suturing, abscess drainage, foreign body removal, ekg and X-ray interpretations
- Understanding orthopedic injuries and treatments, pediatric, geriatric, and general medical conditions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Maryland required
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- COVID vaccination is required
- Urgent care, family medicine, or Emergency medicine experience is preferred
