Orchards Feed Ace Hardware, Clark County’s oldest locally owned, premier feed, farm, nursery, and hardware store has openings for full time and part time Nursery Associate positions. Candidates should be detail oriented with a great attitude and willingness to learn. They should also love working with their hands and being outdoors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outstanding customer service.
- Plant care.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Load products into customer vehicles.
- Learn locations of all products in the nursery department.
- Learn about all products in the nursery department.
- Move products throughout the property.
- Complete all required training.
- Follow all store policies for safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-tear nursery experience.
- General knowledge of nursey products (plants, fertilizers, pest control, pots, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to take instructions.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work and interact with people of all backgrounds.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.
NOT REQUIRED, BUT NICE TO HAVE
- Pesticide certifications
- Feed industry work experience.
- Epicor experience.
- Hardware Store work experience (Especially Ace Hardware).
- Bilingual (Spanish, Russian highly valued).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to regularly move and handle boxes, products, and equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to clearly communicate with others verbally and written.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
- full-time and part-time positions available.
- Full-time employee hours range between 35 & 40 hours per week
- Part-time employee hours range between 20 & 32 hours per week
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Store hours are Mon-Sat 9AM to 6PM & Sun 10AM to 5PM
SALARY / WAGE
$16.00 to $17.00 DOE
