Candidates should have experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
30 Hour/weekly will depend on whether CNA remains all hours of the school day.
CNA will provide specialized support in an educational setting to deaf and hard of hearing children with disabilities and a varity of diagnoses, including but not limited to cognitive and learning challenges. Provide personal care to children, such as diapering, toileting and feeding. Work with staff to assist in the day to day education of assigned child with medical needs.
NOTE: CNA will specifically care for a very young child whole is almost 4 but operates as a 10 month old. Looking for a nurturing, caring person to be 1:1 with this child. The child attends until 1pm daily, but facility would like CNA to work the additional 2 hours until 3pm each day, but are fine if they leave at 1pm.
Experience: Ability to communicate using ASL or learn ASL
Familiar with medical needs in toileting, diapering and feeding of children with limited cognitive delays
