Who is right for the job?

As a Med Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant with Phoebe you will be providing assistance to the professional staff and residents. A CNA’s daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct resident care as directed by the RN or LPN in charge. Your role will be to maintain resident comfort and safety. You will also follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. You will represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements. As a Phoebe Med Tech/CNA you will adhere to the organizational Core Values and Mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person both resident and co-worker. Responsibilities

• Changing Linens
• Cleaning Rooms

• Giving bed baths (under direction of a nurse)

• Assist with Therapy, doing range of motion
• Electronically record resident conditions

Must Have's:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CNA Certification in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility and pursuit of certification
• Successful completion of the Department of Welfare Medication Administration Course
• Successful completion of Diabetic Education
• Successful completion of the Department of Welfare Medication Administration Course
• Three (3) month prior experience in long term care preferred
