Position Highlights:
Manages the Nutrition (RD - Registered Dietitian) Services throughout multiple Moffitt campuses. Responsible for inpatient and outpatient clinic needs for Nutrition, Diabetes, and Nutrition Support services. Assures budget development and oversight, program development, caseload management, recruitment/hiring of staff, oversight of supervisors, regulatory standards for IP (inpatient) and OP (outpatient), and overall administrative management of the departments. Provides management cross-coverage and support to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provides daily operations oversight
- Oversees departmental budget
- Ensures compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations
- Provides communication and collaborations
- Provides management oversight to direct and indirect reports
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Food/Nutrition or Food Science/Nutrition. Dietitians will primarily have a degree in Food Science and Nutrition, however comparable degrees would be considered. In lieu of a Master's Degree, a dietitian will have 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.
- BLS Certification.
- Must have one of the following at hire: RD (Registered Dietitian) or LDN (Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist).
- Minimum of five (5) years in an acute care setting with one (1) of the years specifically in an outpatient setting.
- 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience.
