What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
Regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant including telemetry controls, motors, pumps, process and data collection equipment, as directed by the Project manager. Participates in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours. Will be required to respond to emergency or unpredictable situations. This does include shift work.
Essential Functions:
  • Monitors and controls water treatment system.
  • Performs minor and major repair and maintenance to plant and equipment.
  • Monitors plant operations to ensure adherence to all State and Federal regulations.
  • Collects and analyzes samples from water treatment and TSS samples.
  • Calculates data and enters into computerized record system on a daily basis.
  • Responds to emergency situations as required or in accordance with emergency operations plan.
  • Maintains and keeps current State operator’s license.
  • Maintains stock of chemicals used.
  • Performs all work in compliance with established safety standards.

  • Ability to climb fixed ladders in excess of 20 feet.
  • Ability to wear a full face respirator after physical and fit testing.
What will you need to succeed?
  • Missouri Water treatment plant operator’s license preferred.
  • A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation' and maintenance of Water Treatment Plant facility.
  • Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in water treatment work.
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Please reference this project specific pay range instead. In addition, for facilities that are unionized and receive benefits through the union, the benefits may differ from what is listed.
Project Specific Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00

Pay:
This position’s anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity:
Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings**
