Office Assistant Job at Dade County Food Group
We are looking to hire an office assistant for a part-time hourly position as a 1099 contractor.
Dade County Food Group is a growing catering company looking to add to our office team.
Our clientele range from engaged couples and celebrities to corporate functions and non-profit organizations.
With this company growing, we are looking to expand the office to accommodate the influx of business.
This position was created to eventually upgrade into a full-time salary position with this company after the 90-day probationary period.
(the offer for full-time position may be offered prior to completion of the probationary period)
- $16 -18/hr based on experience
- 1 week paid vacation
- Holiday Bonuses
- Email management; assisting with correspondence for potential and existing clients
- Coordinating and distributing upcoming event information with kitchen & warehouse staff
- Constructing formal menus and client invoices
- Providing checks and balances regarding event details in the office before submission to kitchen/warehouse staff
- Collecting and processing payments
Some of the requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to commute to Cutler Bay area
- Being Prompt
- Personable (Lots of communication with clients & staff)
- Experience in operating Quickbooks a plus
- Being bilingual is a plus

Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Catering/Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
