Now for the boring stuff…

Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones in a courteous manner and help customers both on the phone and in person whenever possible.
  • Scan and file paperwork per company procedure.
  • Process daily bank deposit and reconcile cash drawer. Process accounts receivables.
  • Process inventory receipts and verify packing lists and invoices for accuracy.
  • Contact vendors to request pricing, item lead times, quotations, tracking information, etc.
  • Assist Receiving and Accounts Payable Specialist with resolving receiving and billing discrepancies.
  • Assist Estimator and Project Manager with providing pricing, product, product substitutions, delivery, back-order and warranty information as requested.
  • Put together job Submittal and O&M packages using Specbooks.
  • Maintain office supply inventory.
  • Perform general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Assist President/Manager with other duties, as he/she may deem necessary.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Experience as an office assistant or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Quickly learn organization procedures and operations.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs. (email, Excel, Word)
Physical Demands:
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle material weighing up-to 50 pounds.
  • The performance of essential job functions for this position require both access to valuable assets and interaction with others under potentially stressful conditions. Therefore, individuals demonstrating a history of illegal substance abuse, theft or violence present a higher risk of loss and may be disqualified.
