VA Long-Term Care Facilities:

• Claremore, OK

Pay Rate / Shift Options:

• A-CMA/CMA - $26 an hour
• Day, Evening & Nights - 5X8s options
• Day & Nights - 3X12s options

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Covid-19 Vaccine Preferred but not required
• CMA or A-CMA certificates, licensures, BLS, and course completions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Certified to dispense medication to patients while under the supervision of RN and LPN staff.
• Tracks prescription and non-prescription drugs administered to patients; documents dosage times and amounts.
• Attends to the resident’s immediate needs for safety and assist in a manner that fosters independent functioning and customer satisfaction.
• Supervises and engages with patients during community activities.
• Assists residents with ADLs such as grooming, bathing, feeding, and attending to social needs.
• Collaborates with RN and LPN staff to provide outstanding patient care.
• Knows and implements incident, risk management, emergency and safety procedures as indicated by the facility.
• Demonstrates problem solving skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
