Position Summary:

Managing the inbound and outbound shipments from domestic and international suppliers/customers. This includes ensuring that all products are received into inventory and processed per company standards for the proper maintenance and storage as required by supporting product specification. Efficient and timely coordination of shipping products to the end destinations using direct carriers or freight forwarders. Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, other documents as required for export to EU and Asia). Enter all data with high degree of accuracy into ERP system. Proactively plan for product pick-up and delivery.

Education and Experience:

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree. Experience in laboratory setting and/or freight forwarding a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.
• Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access databases, send/receive messages, and prepare documents.
• Requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Requires ability to move boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations.
• Some tasks will require repetitive hand/wrist/elbow movements.
