About Dries Van Noten
Dries Van Noten was a charter member of the collective of Belgian designers that disrupted the fashion culture with their avant-garde aesthetics and stylistic daring in the mid-1980s. All alumni of Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, they became known as the Antwerp Six.
In 1986, Van Noten established his own label and opened his first boutique in the Belgian fashion capital, and in 1993 brought his women's collections to the Paris runways. His clothes are crafted in extraordinary fabrics and prints, the large majority of which are conceived and exclusively designed by Dries and his team. The Opportunity
Dries Van Noten, Los Angeles, has an exciting opportunity to join the team as Operations Associate, responsible for supporting the store to achieving sales goals and through providing the highest level of customer service, complying with company policies, procedures, and directives.
What you´ll get to do
Operations:
o Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
o Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures
o Properly execute all relevant register functions
o Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance
o Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management
o Stockroom and Back of House organization maximizing efficiency (optimize stock capacity, spaces organization)
o Contributing in setting and maintaining the highest qualitative standards in term of environment and product care
o Support store management (SM and ASM) with inventory activities to prevent loss
o Process outgoing shipments to clients
o Help process studio pulls for stylists
o Process deliveries from start to finish
o Prepare new deliveries (check in shipment, tag garments, sensor, change hangers, steam garments)
o Create and maintain a system for an efficient backstock flow
Sales Generation:
o Facilitate and support sales associates activities (to impact positively on sales and customer experience) handle send sales and phone orders
o Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
o Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise
o After closing a sale, monitor all details including: shipping, alterations (if applicable) and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction
o Comply with all sales related policies and procedures
o Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends
Customer Service:
o Provide the highest level of customer service
o Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
o check store's e-mail and reply to client inquiries
