The Operations Manager assists the Leadership team to increase the value and liquidity of the business. This position will maintain the physical integrity of the business, create an environment that enhances the Client/Customer experience, sales, and community connections, and position the business for future growth.
The Operations Manager has a thorough understanding of and ability to manage mechanical systems, business practices, preventative maintenance, and government regulations.
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of operations methods, human resources, Cash accounting and understands the need to increase profitability and will keep business costs under control.
This individual administers the physical operations of the business with the assistance of the production Manager , oversees general and preventative equipment maintenance, job coordination, business management, marketing and new business capture and the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Employee Focus:
Demonstrate executive leadership by guiding successful teams’ representative of the company’s core values Quality, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, and Consistency. Manage and develop the talent of the team while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Financial Focus:Create the annual expense budget within defined guidelines; implement and forecast operating expenses to that budget. Meet regularly with the (Sr) General Manager to review finances and adjust as needed to meet the current financial plan.
Prepare and manage estimates, schedule, reporting/forecasting and operating expense plans to meet or exceed company expectations.
Accounts Payable and accounts receivable and other duties as assigned.
- Operations Focus: Act as project manager for all jobs in conjunction with production manager
Effectively manage vendors through a thorough understanding of all applicable service or maintenance contracts. Administer all required insurance certificates and invoicing.
Obtain bids and prepare work orders in accordance with company policy.
Conduct operational audits and ensure processes are following policy and standard.
Ensure all State and Federal required reports and safety documentation is maintained.
Record asset inventory and company purchases
Work with (Sr) General Manager or to implement training, SOP’s, Risk Management/Emergency Planning, and business procedures and protocols.
Work effectively with the Leadership team
- Other Areas of Focus:Assist with marketing and community events and promotions.
Participate in company strategic planning efforts.
Participate in Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-4 years in the construction, warehouse, manufacturing management industry, or 4+ years of comparable experience required.
- Painting or Powder industry experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to lead and influence a diverse group of people.
- Ability to communicate effectively, supervise, train and direct operations/production team and contracted services.
- Good analytical skills
- Strategic business orientation while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
- Proven ability to manage projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Quickbooks
- 4+ years of supervisory experience required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
