We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee operational activities within defined areas of the operations department. The ideal candidate is someone who can take iniative, provide effective leadership and communication, and develop and maintain outstanding customer service.

Snapshot of this role:

• Provide effective leadership to subordinate teams and perform team management functions incl. hiring, terminations, performance, regular feedback, and coaching.
• Responsible for quality and customer satisfaction and monitoring quality and safety metrics.
• Maintain and monitor relationships of vendors and propose new suppliers for approval.
• Coordinate weekly project schedules, equipment, and materials together with the Scheduler and Project Coordinator.
• Coordinate training and development for subordinate teams with the Training Manager.
• Review and approve work time and expense entries.
• Travel to field sites to meet with teams and customers.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant and continuously look for process optimizations.
• Work with other personnel to accomplish company goals.
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality of all organization, personnel, and research matters.
• Compliance with applicable business processes and all programs / EHS plans.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an area operations or project manager or similar roles.
• Evidence of continuing education and skills upgrading.
