Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Orthopedic and Spine Program Coordinator is responsible for utilizing a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to coordinate the care of all orthopedic and spine patients. What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring loop closure, including development and implementation of action plans, is obtained on identified PI issues and trends by collaborating with clinical leaders of departments caring for orthopedic and spine patients.
  • You will collaborate with Orthopedic and Spine Medical Directors & Nursing Directors in areas to include, but not limited to: developing and/or revising policies, procedures and guidelines, and the QAPI Program.
  • You will complete gap analysis for programmatic development for the advancement of Orthopedic and Spine quality care to include but not limited to: TJC Disease Site Certification, and support Unit of Distinction activities.
  • You will monitor the provision of orthopedic and spine patient care services from admission, stabilization, and through discharge.

What qualifications you will need:

  • BSN required, MSN preferred

  • Texas State RN License or compact license is accepted
  • National Specialty Certification required - Orthopedic and/or Spine certification preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Minimum of 2 years Clinical Experience in Orthopedics and/or Spine required

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
