This is a role which may include the following: Driver / CDL / Customer Delivery Specialist / Driver / Class CDL / Delivery Driver / Class A CDL / Delivery Truck Driver / OTR / Driver •Operates an 80,000 pound tractor and semi-trailer carrying product to pre-determined destinations. •Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle will operate safely. •Positions trailers at docks for loading and unloading product. •Keeps and maintains a driver’s log book each day. •Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements:
This is a role which may include the following: Driver / CDL / Customer Delivery Specialist / Driver / Class CDL / Delivery Driver / Class A CDL / Delivery Truck Driver / OTR / Driver High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to their first day of employment. (Must be able to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and 45 business days from their date of hire in which to obtain the license). Two Years tractor – trailer experience required. Experience positioning trailer at docks for loading and unloading. Able to pass a PBV driving skills test. Ability to work shift in excess of 8 hours Ability to successfully pass DOT physical under guidelines set forth in Federal Motor Carriers Handbook. Average oral and written communication skills. This is a role which may include the following: Driver / CDL / Customer Delivery Specialist / Driver / Class CDL / Delivery Driver / Class A CDL / Delivery Truck Driver / OTR / Driver Constantly (34%-66%) required to sit. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb, walk, stand and lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to speak and read English.
