Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Associate I works under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse as an integral part of the multidisciplinary treatment team and is responsible for monitoring and reporting of patient behaviors; providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling; assisting in patient data collection, recording, and maintenance; and responding in crisis situations and medical emergencies as needed.

- POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Tech functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics depending on which department and or unit worked. Outpatient Mental Health Techs work under the direction of the Director of Outpatient. In addition, responsible for coordinating and transporting patients to and from PVBH programming.
