Havenwyck Hospital is a 243 bed Joint Commission accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults.


POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides telephone triage, clinical assessment services, referral services and processes outpatient admission within required time frames and establishes therapeutic relationships with clients, families, referral sources and program teams. Streamline process and reduce wait-time of patients needing the PHP level of care. This individual will be cross trained in both intake and PHP as a clinician allowing them to provide support when needed to either department with duties including assessments and running groups.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in a psychiatric hospital.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan is required. Strong assessment skills. Maintain annual CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention/intervention (CPI) certification. Must have knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment Procedures
