Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking Full-Time Outpatient Pharmacy Technician's to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team!
The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician is responsible, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s) on duty, for pharmaceutical care of patients including all age groups (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). This position is also responsible for coordinating Pharmacy Performance Management activities as assigned by the Outpatient/Specialty Pharmacy Manager. This position uses knowledge and judgment to make decisions concerning the proper filling of drug orders subject to final approval by the pharmacist(s) on duty.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. TN Pharmacy Technician license required. PTCB upon hire or within 90 days of employment or transfer to the department.
Experience: 1 to 3 years experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.07 - $20.40 per hour
