We are seeking dedicated therapists to work with our clients for psychotherapy in both in-person and remote settings. The position we are trying to fill is flexible as the applicant can choose to be in-person every day (% increase from Hybrid), hybrid, or fully remote (% decrease from Hybrid). GENNEW is a smaller practice with locations in both Dedham, MA and Lincold, RI. As the practice grows we are seeking those who enjoy using psychotherapy to help clients. This position is also geared for those just receiving their masters, as well as the fully terminally licensed LICSW/LMHC/LMFT and Psy.D Providers.

Job title: Fee for Service Clinician I, II, or III

Salary: Varied depending on the status of licensure and In-person, hybrid, or Remote

Salary will be discussed at Interview but typical range are below

Clinical Intern - Completing 2nd Year Masters program - To be discussed

Clinician I - Masters Level Clinicians - MSW, MHC, MS (in counseling field) $29-$33.20

Clinician II - Licensed Clinician - LCSW, LDAC2 $34.50-$39.67

Clinician III - LMHC/LICSW/LMFT discussed at interview.

Work Location: Dedham, MA, Lincoln, RI, Remote

Hours per week: Minimum of 6 hours

Clinician's provide clinical and case management services; conduct evaluations and assessments; provide ongoing counseling, treatment and intervention; conduct individual, group and family psychotherapy, and perform other duties as assigned. These duties include but are not limited to:

Knowledge of:

  • Current and diverse theories, principles, and practices for services to clients with serious behavioral health care symptoms and diagnosis.
  • Cultural and social factors affecting behavior patterns.
  • The dynamic that race can play in behavioral manifestations.
  • Anti-racist knowledge of social and racial justice.
  • Wellness, recovery and resiliency oriented strategies and supports.
  • Community needs, resources and organizations related to behavioral health care.
  • Principles and practices of direct client service delivery.
  • Principles of social needs, problems, attitudes and behavioral patterns.
  • Applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
  • Office administrative practices and procedures, including records management and the operation of standard office equipment.
  • Computer applications related to the work.

Responsibilities
∙ Supports evaluation of program services to enhance patient outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality patient care.
∙ Conducts assessment of each patient’s psychosocial status and functioning in an effort to document history and identify preliminary items for the treatment plan.
∙ Facilitates the overall development and implementation of a comprehensive, individualized plan of treatment in conjunction with other treatment team members.
∙ Incorporates the patient’s psychosocial functioning and strengths in the plan of care.
∙ Formulates a treatment plan with the client, using knowledge of alcohol and drug abuse risk factors and counseling and treatment techniques.
∙ Refers client to other support services as needed, such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services.
∙ Prepares and maintains reports and case histories.
∙ Participates in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
∙ Consults with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework; refers clients to appropriate service agencies as required.
∙ Attends staff meetings and team conferences.

∙ Participates in training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills.
∙ Maintains current knowledge base on counseling issues regarding substance abuse and other psychosocial disorders through conferences, educational requirements for licensure, and applicable current literature.

Ability to:

  • Work in office or via telehealth, this position can be a telehealth only position.
  • Maintain a caseload based on hours of availability
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, community resources and organizations.
  • Organize and prioritize work and meet critical deadlines
  • Interpret, explain, and apply regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Analyze, evaluate and make sound decisions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate and effective reports, correspondence and other written materials.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Work with a diverse population.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Build, establish, and maintain rapport with clients
  • Attend company retreat once or twice a year.
  • Because you will be handling confidential client information, you must work from your home office. You cannot work in a public location (like a coffee shop or the library).

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

These are minimum professional requirements for the position of Clinician :

Work Experience: Successful completion of 2 year or equivalent of internship experience.

Education: Possession of a Master's degree from a recognized college or university in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, clinical or educational psychology or in a closely related field.

License/Registration: Ability to be license eligible or currently hold a license for providing clinical therapy.

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
