Roles & Responsibilities:
The Mount Sinai Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health (SCOH) are widely recognized as leaders in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses. Our physicians are leaders in the field of occupational medicine, providing care to injured and ill workers and retirees in the New York City and Lower Hudson Valley regions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain outreach and retention strategy to identify and target occupational health needs of the various groups of workers as identified by SCOH needs assessment reports in NYC and MHV region
- Create said outreach and retention strategies by analyzing available data and translating it into action items
- Cultivate strong working relationships by maintaining regular communication with unions, employers, community and volunteer organizations to identify and utilize innovative strategies to engage their members and promote services offered at SCOH
- Participate in various outreach community events and raise awareness about Selikoff services
- Assist in developing, writing and editing, of patient educational materials to support outreach and retention activities that include but are not limited to website development, advertisement, newsletters, patient letters and other educational materials
- Develop, create and schedule all social media content and posts
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing and social media
- Serves as liaison between funding agencies and the department to ensure compliance and adherence to style guides.
- Coordinate and plan seminars, conferences and other educational workshops
- Maintain email and mailing lists
- Perform additional projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion and marketing preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in graphic design is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58661 - $74250 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
