Advacare Home Services is growing and currently looking for a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative in the Winston Salem area.

The Outside Sales Representative will call on physicians, hospitals, and sleep labs to promote the company’s products and services. The primary responsibility is to generate new and repeat business by maintaining existing accounts, prospecting new providers, and networking throughout assigned territory. They will travel 90% of the time in the Winston Salem area.

This is a base + commission position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities For the Outside Sales Representative:

  • Conduct daily outside sales calls to establish new business and maintain ongoing business with referral sources in the medical community
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Finding and developing new markets and increase sales.
  • Responsible for account activity, sales documentation, reports, and territory management
  • Provide presentations and in-services
  • Planning and collaborating with our marketing initiatives.
  • Works with the office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation of services, including providing adequate information to satisfy third-party payor guidelines for coverage
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
  • Develops sales territory call strategies to qualify new and maintain existing accounts to grow the business
  • Builds relationships with patients, caregivers, and referral sources
  • Establish and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other professionals in the medical community
  • Follows weekly call plan and enters completed sales calls in CRM database.
  • Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer concerns
  • Meets and/or exceeds a monthly sales quota
  • Partners with company’s clinical team to promote clinical programs
  • Performs other related duties as directed by Sales Manager and Management
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education, Credentials, Certification, and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED, 2-year degree preferred
  • 2 years related experience and/or training in medical services related fields
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Exhibits effective oral and written communication with location staff, supervisors, patients, and all referral sources
  • Must be highly self-motivated, flexible and service-oriented
  • Builds relationships with patients, caregivers, and referral sources
  • Strong organization, time and territory management skills
