Holton Logistics, LLC has an opening for an Weekday Over The Road (OTR) Driver!!

MAJOR DUTIES:

* Transport and deliver freight over the road over in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.

* Mainly transporting in the South and Midwest Regions of the United States.

* Hook and unhook trailers and secure freight.

* Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.

* Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

* Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to Company personnel.

* Represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements:

* The Dictionary of Occupational Titles classifies Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver in the Medium physical demand level.

* Able to lift no more than 50 pounds at a time.

* Able to be away from home and available for round-the-clock trips and able to remain alert while driving for periods of up to 11 hours each day.

* Able to squat, crouch and reach as needed; able to enter and exit the vehicle’s cab numerous times each day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A): minimum of 2 years

* 6 months minimum previous tractor/trailer driving experience.

* Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

* Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc.) required by the DOT and pass required drug/alcohol test.

* Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)

PAY/COMPENSATION

* Home and off-duty after completion of 70-hr duty period for reset.

* Driver will be paid a minimum of 25% of the line haul. Can be paid more depending on qualifications/endorsements and years of experience.

* Performance-based annual bonus

* Two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.40 - $0.55 per mile

Supplemental pay types:

• Detention pay
• Performance bonus
