Paint Sprayer Job at Optimum Personnel Services
Are you a modern day Picasso? Do you have an eye for detail?
Well if you do, we need you to come showcase those skills as one of our Paint Sprayers in our
Savannah factory. This position is responsible for bringing our manufactured products to life with
protective or decorative material, such as powder paint. You'll use a spray gun and help with
hanging and removing components from the paint conveyor line as needed. The Powder Coat
Operator maintains and cleans all spray equipment with solvent or similar cleaner so that we can
make creative masterpieces day after day.
The successful candidate(s) must be able to work four (4) days on, four (4) days off.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate with other team members to properly and accurately hang parts on paint
line
Perform pre-coat quality inspection ensuring items are free of machine markings and meet
surface preparation expectations.
Conduct system color changes
Inspect parts for quality defects, measure mil thicknesses, other quality tests
Assist with loading and unloading of paint line
Monitor equipment for reliability and safety
Monitors powder coating equipment to ensure machine readings are within specified
tolerances.
Receive and cycle count paint powder
Work in a fast-paced environment keeping safety and quality top of mind
What You Bring:
Knowledge of startup and shut down procedures of a paint line
Previous powder coat experiences an asset
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Quality consciousness: consistently meets quality & production standards
Good attendance record
Physical dexterity, ability to be active on the job
Must understand the importance of maintaining a safe work environment
Proficient computers knowledge
Good communication, organizational and time-management skills
Shows initiative, desire to learn.
Steel-toed shoes required
Available for overtime
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
