Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Effectively communicate information about the UNM campus, including its parking rules and regulations, to students, staff, faculty, and visitors
Monitor the safety of campus parking facilities and report unusual activity to the proper authorities and provide traffic control when necessary.
Patrol and monitor parking lots and structures and report the existence of potentially unsafe conditions.
Issue parking citations to illegally parked vehicles and, when necessary, attach vehicle boots and arrange towing services.
Assist with special event parking, traffic and crowd control activities.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
- All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
High School Diploma or GED; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Experience working with a diverse group of customers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (cover letter and interview)
- Experience working with computerized equipment in the workplace.
