The ideal candidate will have great communication, strong people skills and a positive attitude. They will be a collaborative team player who is solution-oriented, able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have a high sense of urgency. Multi-tasking is essential in this role as billing representatives make a real difference to their customers and the company. In this role, you will learn how to provide over-the-phone account and payment support services.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Manage large volume of incoming calls

· Assist customers who have billing inquires and/or are calling to make a payment/update payment method

· Assist with questions related to price increases

· Educate customer on past due balances and set up payment arrangements as needed

· Apply credits to customer accounts as needed

· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

· Assist with other billing department duties

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· No experience require

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Oversee collections staff

· Monitor schedule adherence

· Set daily goals and manage staff productivity

· Ensure collectors follow protocols, laws, and regulations to collect payments efficiently
