Cleveland Medical Center- Varies Floors & Departments available. Multiple Floors/Specialities available.Rotating and/or straight shifts available Most shifts will include Evenings and/or Nights. (Evenings, Nights, Day/Evenings, Day/Nights, Evenings/Nights.)
At University Hospitals , our extraordinary caregivers enable us to advance the science of health and the art of compassion. PCNA's do this by providing care and assistance to patients in what is often their most vunerable state- directly at the bedside. PCNA's help the unit function with activities including but not limited to:
Providing direct patient care and clerical support to the unit under the direction of the RN.
Assists patients with ADLs including ambulating, transferring, bathing, feeding, grooming, turning and positioning, and oral care, conducts chart audits as directed by the nurse manager.
Assists with data collection and reporting. Assists with billing functions as needed, maintains the patient record in written and or electronic format, facilitates communication and efficient unit operations, orders clerical supplies for the department.
Qualifications
High School Equivalent / GED.
BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during UH Orientation.
