Part-Time Project Coordinator (REMOTE)

Summary of Position
Prevention Innovations Research Center (PIRC) is seeking a temporary-to-permanent (3-months, 10 hours per week) project coordinator with the potential to expand to a permanent position if the volume of work continues to increase and the candidate is a fit for the position. The project coordinator will assist with two externally funded projects related to the use of mobile technology in violence education prevention in high school and university settings. The position can be fulfilled by working off or on-site or in combination.

Maintain the project Trello boards:
  • Ensure tasks are captured in Trello with owners, due dates, and completion status
  • Ensure tasks are up to date, reaching out to tasks owners for status as needed
Manage agendas for the weekly planning/review meetings for two mobile app projects:
  • Gather feedback from team members on topics to discuss
  • Ensure the agenda on Trello is up to date
Lead weekly project review meetings using the Trello boards:
  • Share boards via zoom during the meetings
  • Ensure those agenda items and appropriate Trello card topics are discussed
Maintain project and communication material files in Box and/or Sharepoint:
  • Work with team members to capture / access documents needed for team use
  • Ensure the latest versions of documents are easily identified
  • Propose improvements to the document organization structure
  • Ensure all documents are available in Sharepoint/Box, working with team members as needed to collect, organize, and post documents
Manage task assignments for interns:
  • Track intern schedules weekly
  • Ensure tasks are available / assigned, working with team members as needed

Durham, Concord, Keene, Manchester, Plymouth

Required Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented, able to successfully manage / track a large number of tasks simultaneously
  • Experienced in using Trello, Box/Sharepoint or other document management systems, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills:
    • Comfortable reaching out to team members outside of meetings to check status and managing issues or delays in a positive manner
    • Comfortable proposing improvements to organization and project tasks
  • Basic familiarity with project management, including timelines, critical paths, resource management
  • Ability to communicate clearly in meetings and in writing
