This role will assist in the preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards. Some other tasks include assisting higher level bakers and other duties as assigned by Chef.

• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced, team oriented, environment
• Basic culinary skills as well as basic pastry skills
• Basic understanding of a pastry/baking operation within the hotel is preferred but not required
• Able to work single station in the kitchen
• Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
• Takes pride in a job well done
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including, weekends and holidays
• A fun and energized person with a creative mindset
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
