What Does a Vision Therapist Do?

· Assists in planning and implementation of individual VT.

· Provides individual VT with minimal supervision.

· Assists in maintaining reports on total number of sessions, new VT starts, missed or cancelled sessions, graduations, and drop-out/ likely drop-outs.

· Documents in InfiniteVT according to all office policies and legal requirements.

· Maintain organization of all therapy procedures and equipment.

· Submits workbooks, training sheets and other requested documentation to lead vision therapist.

· Contributes to the running of the Vision Therapy practice through professionalism and competent work.

· Communicate questions and suggestions regarding office policy, procedures, VT protocols and marketing/advertising to Operations Manager.

· Demonstrate punctuality and responsibility, fulfilling all assigned tasks, including maintenance and housekeeping.

· Attend all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions and other similar functions as assigned; this may include weekend conferences or travel on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Operations Manager.

· Basic housekeeping and equipment maintenance and all other duties as assigned by operations manager.

Expected Compensation:

Year One:

• Start: $15/hour → $31,200
• End: $18/hour → $37,440

Year Two:

• Start: $18/hour → $37,440
• End: $21/hour → $43,680

Year Three:

• Start: $21/hour → $43,680
• End: $25/hour → $52,000'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
