Position Title: PC Technician
Position Classification: Part-time, 12-month, Staff, hourly non-exempt position
Hours: 20 hours per week, Flexible (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
Reports to: Jim Mayra, Director of Information Technology
Position Summary:
St. Christopher's School, the largest all-boys school in Virginia and one of the largest and oldest boys' schools in the Mid-Atlantic region, seeks a part-time PC Technician.
Serving approximately 1,000 boys in Grades JK-12 in Richmond, Virginia, St. Christopher's School is committed to cultivating a school community that is diverse, inclusive, and welcoming and prides itself on bringing out the best in every boy. Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently; i.e. ask for help when needed and take initiative without direct supervision.
- Perform a variety of tasks necessary to support the technology needs across campus.
- Help with imaging, configuring, upgrading, repairing and troubleshooting for Mac, PC, laptops, desktops, and Chromebooks.
- Help with Application support such as Google, Office, Adobe, etc.
- Assist with networking, systems management and accounts of varying systems.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Team player, highly motivated, energetic and hard working.
- Currently enrolled in school and interested in Information Technology.
- Work experience required. We will train.
