Seeking Assistant(s) for Disabled Woman
SHIFTS AVAILABLE -- 8:30 AM (4.5-5.5 hour shift) AND 10 PM (1 hour shift)
$17.25/hr.
* Summary I'm an active woman with a physical disability who lives with my fiance, 2 young adult children and a very precocious small dog in our queer-friendly Machesney Park home. I am a social worker, mother and advocate who works from home, and enjoy spending time with my partner, friends, and family. I love to cook, prepare for holidays, watching shows and movies, reading, "retail therapy", and such.
Requirements
- Comfort with Personal Care
- Ability to Readily Push/Pull 100+ lbs in a Wheeled Lift
- Ability to Lift My Upper Body to a Sitting Position
- Ability to Roll 200 lbs
- Prompt and Reliable
- Detail-Oriented Quick Learner
- Strong Communication Skills
- Fluent in English
- Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
- Social Security # and Work Permit if Applicable
- Good References
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination (Preferred but Not Necessary)
- Experience Preferred but Not Necessary
- LGBTQI+ Friendly
