Hearts for Healing Home Care & Staffing Agency has open positions & urgently hiring. We are in search of an experienced and compassionate Caregivers for 1on1 care who understands the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for a committed individual who has communication skills and can problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team. Must have experience in home care, hoyer-lifts, and a self-starter. We are currently looking for caregivers for Cobb County, Gwinnett County, and Fulton County.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, mobility, administering medication, personal hygiene, eating and transporting to doctor’s appointments
• Maintain open communication between families and health care professionals regarding client’s emotional condition
• Document and report any changes in client’s health status
• Ensure highest client safety and well-being

Preferred

• High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
• Current and valid caregiver certification
• Extensive experience working with the elderly
• Written and oral communication skills
• Experience and knowledge working with elderly patients
• Ability to problem solve quickly
• Nursing background an asset
• Experience working in a home setting

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid first aid and CPR certification
• Covid-19Card (or negative weekly results)
• Negative TB Test
• Resume
• Valid Driver’s License
• Insurance
• PCA training (we also offer courses if needed)
• Background check
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
