Tuttle Click CDJR in Irvine is looking for an Entry Level PDI Technician! They will be responsible for inspecting and preparing newly acquired vehicles to be front-line ready; excellent problem-solving abilities; must be a good communicator; at all times providing an exceptional customer experience.

Compensation: $17.00- $20.00 based on experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect all lubrication levels and add proper lubrication, as required.
• Inspect all new vehicles for obvious damages and missing components.
• Replace defective items according to specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation of brakes, transmission, and engine operation.
• Activate power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights, and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.

• Install optional equipment specified, such as outside mirrors, rugs, and seat covers.
• Install or replace standard components, such as hubcaps and wiper blades.
• Inform the PDI Manager of difficulties with vehicle prep and the need for additional repairs.
• Rotates or installs tires

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• Able to learn to use: Reynolds, technical software and manufacturer's diagnostic equipment as required.
• Ability to adapt and support new processes and changes to help in employee and customer satisfaction.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
