First Home Care is seeking an experienced full time Performance Improvement - Quality Assurance Specialist that can join our Alexandria, VA team to fulfill the following job requirements:
- Monitor and review client and/or foster parent records to ensure compliance with all federal/state and regulatory requirements.
- Make recommendations for areas of improvement and reports areas of deficiencies to the Program/Department Managers and Director.
- Provide training to educate staff on importance of documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Complete initial and continued stay utilization review as needed for therapeutic foster care case management authorizations procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related experience.
- Two or more years' experience in performance improvement practical application experience preferred.
- Experience with therapeutic foster care services, medical records review, or utilization review for case management preferred.
