Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Permit Coordinator to work in our Denver, CO office. The Permit Coordinator will work with our Utility Design Engineering Discipline and will assist with permitting efforts related to local, state, and federal agencies for telecommunications and utility projects.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or similar Technical Education.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications and Utility industries.
  • Relevant Experience in permitting through federal, state, and local jurisdictions/agencies.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Good Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/O365 applications.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Resourceful and proactive.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in business matters to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, communicate, and implement process improvements.

Salary Range: $55k-65k/yr. DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare applications and required documents for submittal packages to various agencies, jurisdictions, boards, or committees.
  • Manage coordination and communication with permitting agencies, jurisdictions, boards, or committees.
  • Coordinate permitting time frames with external clients and contractors as required.
  • Obtain property owner lists, rules, regulations from various resources and agencies when required for permitting applications and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal project managers and staff members on permitting deliverables and required documents for completion.
  • Monitor, track, and provide timely updates on permit tracking for internal and external reporting.
  • Conduct permitting research to understand permitting requirements and expectations.
  • Assist team as needed to support project setup, project folders, forms, and internal databases.
