Responsibilities of a Personal Care Attendant:
- Provide caregiver services to patients and residents in a skilled nursing center while participating in an on-the-job training program, that will help you achieve becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- This is a 4-month program that offers classroom learning and hands-on practical experience that will qualify you to sit for the state Board’s CNA exam. Once completed, you will obtain your certification and continue employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant. We’ll even reimburse you for the cost of the exam!
Qualifications for a Personal Care Attendant:
- Must be 18 years of age or older. No minimum education requirements
- Must be willing to complete required classroom modules and on-the-job hours as required by the state within 4 months from date of hire.
