Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Bradford Square Cent, South Frankfort, KY

Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide patient care and treatment plans that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of patient treatment plans as directed by the licensed Physical Therapist
• Observe and document patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist
• Instruct patients in exercises and activities of daily living as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist in the setup and use of equipment for patient treatment
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
