Overview of Physical Therapy Assistant Position:
Provide physical therapy services, under the direction of a registered physical therapist, to patients in their homes. Collaborate with the VNA Care team, patient, family, and physician to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs.
Education:
Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
Experience:
One year of recent rehab experience preferred; home care experience preferred.
