Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician to join their team on a temporary basis. This individual will operate pilot plant equipment, clean and sanitize equipment as well as the facility, and ensure the safe working and operation of equipment and environment.

Major Responsibilities

· Operation of various processing equipment (confectionary equipment) with support from Plant technicians producing various samples for internal and external use as requested by R&D.

· Assist in maintaining equipment in good sanitary and working condition.

· Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

· Execute trials on pilot scale equipment.

· Follow CIP and COP procedures.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work area (cleaning floors, walk in coolers, sinks, etc. when necessary).

· Adhere to GMP and other safety regulations.

· Organize supplies and maintain records of all inventories (chemical/equipment/ingredients).

· Maintain security and confidentiality of information within the research and development and quality group.

· Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values.

• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to Ferrara safety methods.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience dealing with multiple equipment vendors and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s or Associate degree

· Supervisory/management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Forklift certification

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Spanish Language Skills

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
