Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join our team in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Whitestown. Our mission is to create the best popcorn products in the world and share them with our customers, and we want individuals who are aligned with our mission and values to join us in this pursuit. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality RTE popcorn products, and leading a dedicated team. You will ensure that production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and customer satisfaction is achieved.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as a Plant Manager that includes experience in the food manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone with the tenacity to never give up, who is passionate about their work, and who values trust.

Your responsibilities will be to …

• Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met, and quality standards are maintained.
• Lead and develop a team of dedicated employees, providing direction, training, and support as needed.
• Work with senior functional partners to ensure that comprehensive business goals are aligned with customer demand.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and EHS teams to ensure that all products and processes meet our high standards.
• Ensure that equipment and facility infrastructure is functioning properly and efficiently.
• Continually evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities will include …

• Associate degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in food manufacturing with at least 5+ years in a plant leadership capacity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Accomplishments that reflect on your belief in the value of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Excellent working knowledge of business strategy, HR, and employee relations issues.
