Babe's Plumbing, Inc., a family-owned business located in Nokomis, Florida, is looking for experienced plumber assistants.
Job Summary:
The Plumber Assistant position is responsible for assisting the Lead Plumber in the installation of commercial and residential plumbing systems. The Plumber Assistant will provide support to the Lead Plumber to ensure adequate materials, tools and equipment is available to complete the project.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and equipment required to perform the essential functions of the job
- Tasks include pipe installation, running vent lines, tub sets, digging ditches, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow written and verbal instructions from lead plumber
- Work with lead plumber to understand blueprints and job-site plans
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2+ years of plumbing experience in residential, commercial and remodel preferred
- Good verbal, written and customer service skills
- Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Work effectively in a team environment
