The Pool Technician is responsible for treating and maintaining pools and waterways.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain cleanliness and organization Pump rooms

• Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is completed in accordance to Facilities Manager guidelines.
• Ensure pool chemistry is maintained in accordance with local bather code.
• Backwash pools when needed.
• Maintain inventory controls of pool chemicals and testing chemicals.
• Diagnose and repair chemical feeders.
• Diagnose and repair chemical probes and controllers.
• Maintain cleanliness of pools.
• Ensure pools are tested and logged in accordance to local bather code.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year related work experience.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Proficient with MS Office software.
• Proficient in English.
• Certified Pool Technician or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Ability to withstand a variety of indoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
