DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for making out-bound calls to patients regarding their medical invoice
  • Answers patients questions regarding account status
  • Accepts patient payment
  • Sets up payment plans
  • Follows established protocols to ensure calls occur in accordance with established internal, client, state, and federal requirements
  • Compiles call results and assist with preparing client feedback reports
  • Confers with Client Representatives regarding delinquent accounts, special adjustments, and other account specific issues.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED with 2+ years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications
  • Strong organizational, negotiation and decision making skills
  • Professionalism and phone etiquette
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
