Westerkamp Group, LLC is an Revenue Cycle Management company focused on hospital billing and collections. We are currently seeking a Pre-Registration Representative in our Houma, LA office to provide patient and third party hospital pre-registration services to our clients.

Job Description:

The Pre-Registration Representative will work as a member of our client team to support the efficient pre-registration for our clients. This full-time position will have standard work hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre-registering patients prior to their appointments to ensure accurate information.
• Calling patients/guarantors to verify information.
• Verifying health insurance information via phone or web portals.

Qualifications:

• Ability to adhere to strict compliance guidelines related to HIPAA.
• Self motivated and ability to work independently.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills.
• The ability to work with multiple patient accounting and billing systems.
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Willingness to learn new application systems and unique billing and collection requirements of our clients.
