A local animal feed producer in Storm Lake, IA is hiring a Premix Manufacturer to join their growing team. The Premix Manufacturer will perform a variety of duties including operating a bagger, bag scales and closing equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate bagger, bag scales and closing equipment.
- Stack bags on pallet, operate lift truck.
- Pick raw materials, operate batching, mixing and liquid systems under direct supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED and six months of basic manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds of material on regular or continuous basis.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, and/or stoop.
- Must be comfortable utilizing computer software.
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience required.
